What to feed — and why a kitten is not a small cat
Anchor the bowl in animal protein: balanced chicken and mutton, with lean fish like tilapia (a lean protein that helps balance the bowl’s protein-to-fat ratio) and egg. Keep it plain and high in moisture — cats are desert-origin animals with a low thirst drive, so a fresh, water-rich bowl matters, especially in Indian heat. Fresh, simple and varied is the goal, just as it will be when your kitten is grown.
The difference is in the amounts. From weaning to about twelve months, kittens need more calcium, more phosphorus, more protein and DHA-forward omega-3 for brain and eye development than an adult ever will — and taurine, which cats cannot make for themselves and which a deficiency of causes blindness and heart disease. A plain meat bowl, on its own, misses exactly these.
That is the gap KittenPro™fills: a 5-gram precision food-balancer that completes your kitten’s fresh bowl to the FEDIAF 2024 / NRC growth floors. You cook the food; the sachet closes the gaps. The full dosing chart by age and the daily-bowl grams live on the growth page.

What happens after growth
The routine you start now doesn’t restart when your kitten grows up — it continues. Feed KittenPro™ through the growth window, then step down to CatCore™adult maintenance at around 12 months. Same fresh bowl, same one-sachet habit — just re-dosed for an adult body. That is the whole idea: a complete feeding routine your cat keeps for life.
Not sure what “complete” even means, or want to see it before you commit? Read what complete and balanced means, sort the whole feeding decision at the feeding hub, or check any bowl with the tool.
