Privacy Policy

We value the trust you place in us and recognize the importance of secure transactions and information privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Growlrr Foods Pvt Ltd and its affiliates (collectively "Growlrr", "we", "us", "our") collect, use, share or otherwise process your personal data through Growlrr website www.growlrr.com, its mobile application, and m-site (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform").

By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing our product/service, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the applicable service/product terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree please do not use or access our Platform.

Collection of Information

We collect your personal data when you use our Platform, services or otherwise interact with us during the course of our relationship. and other information provided by you from time to time. Some of the information that we may collect includes but is not limited to personal data provided by you during sign-up/registration on our Platform such as name, date of birth, address, telephone/mobile number, email ID, occupation and any such other information shared as proof of identity or address.

What we measure on the site, and how to stop it

Our own first-party measurement. When you use the site we may record which pages you visit, how long you actively spend on a page, how far down you scroll and how you use the tools on it (for example, that a bowl was served in the bowl checker and what it scored), and once per visit whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a computer and which operating system family it runs — all tied to a session identifier that is created in your browser and deleted when you close the tab. It is stored on our own servers (Supabase), sets no cookie, and is not shared with any third party. If you are signed in, a pseudonymous account identifier is attached so we can understand the journey from first visit to order. For a signed-in account we also keep when it visits and how many times it has visited (the date, time and length of each visit, and a running count), so we know whether people come back. That count is kept against your account. The pages you looked at are not reported against your name or email; we read those only in aggregate. You can stop this at any time from “Your privacy choices” at the top of this page, and ask us to delete what we hold. On the first page of a visit, and when the payment sheet is opened, we note the country your connection comes from (a two-letter code such as IN; your IP address is not stored). Our own staff devices are marked so that our testing is left out of these numbers; that marker is a flag stored in the browser, not an IP address. If you are outside India and ask to be told when we open in your country, that country code is kept with your email address so we know where to write from. On the first page of a visit we also note the site that sent you here (its address only, never the search or query you typed there) and any campaign tag on the link, so we know which posts and pages bring people. We read these records in aggregate, to fix the site; we do not use them to follow an individual, and we do not look anyone up elsewhere.

Picking up where you left off. When you sign back in we may show you where you left off — your saved pet and whether a reservation was started — on the site only, read from your own account and not from the measurement records above; we do not email or message you about it unless you opted in.

If you close the payment window. We may ask, once, what stopped you. Answering is optional, one tap, and the answer is stored with the payment attempt, not with your name.

Google Analytics 4. Only if you accept it, we load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (_ga) and reports page readership to Google. It is off until you say yes.

Vercel Web Analytics. Our hosting provider counts page views and page speed in aggregate. It is cookieless and does not identify you; it is part of how the site is served.

Transactional records. When you attempt a purchase we record the attempt, the outcome, and — if a payment fails — the reason Razorpay gives us, so we can fix it. Razorpay handles your card or UPI details; we never see or store them. We keep a copy of the messages we send you about your order (the receipt, and notices about shipping or refunds) with the order record, so we can always tell you what we said. If your payment app shared only a phone number, the confirmation page asks for an email address for the receipt; it is used for that reservation only.

Your choice. You are asked once, itemised, after sign-in. You can withdraw or change it at any time from “Your privacy choices” at the top of this page; withdrawing is as easy as giving it. Declining does not affect sign-in, ordering or support.

Everything we measure, in one table

The sections above describe each kind of record as it arises. This table is the whole of it in one place, so you can see the full picture rather than assemble it. If something is not listed here, we do not collect it.

And what we do not do. We do not store your IP address. We do not follow you across other websites, and we run no advertising or retargeting pixel. We do not sell or rent anything about you. We do not build a profile of an individual from browsing: records that are not part of an order are read as totals, and we do not join them back to a person by timing, address or pet name. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — the payment provider holds those. We do not look anyone up elsewhere on the internet, and we do not write to you unless you asked us to or you have an order with us.

Usage of Data

We use your personal data to provide the product and services you request. To the extent we use your personal data to market to you, we will provide you the ability to opt-out of such uses. We use your personal data to assist sellers and business partners in handling and fulfilling orders; enhancing customer experience; resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; help promote a safe service; collect money; measure consumer interest in our products and services; inform you about online and offline offers, products, services, and updates; customize and enhance your experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our terms and conditions; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection of information.

Sharing of Information

We may share your personal data internally within our group entities, our other corporate entities, and affiliates to provide you access to the services and products offered by them. These entities and affiliates may market to you as a result of such sharing unless you explicitly opt-out. We may disclose personal data to third parties such as sellers, business partners, third-party service providers including logistics partners, prepaid payment instrument issuers, third-party reward programs and other payment opted by you.

Security Precautions

To protect your personal data from unauthorised access or disclosure, loss or misuse we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures. Once your information is in our possession or whenever you access your account information, we adhere to our security guidelines to protect it against unauthorised access and offer the use of a secure server. However, the transmission of information is not completely secure for reasons beyond our control.

Data Deletion and Retention

You have an option to delete your account by visiting your profile and settings on our Platform; this action would result in you losing all information related to your account. We retain your personal data information for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law.

Consent

By visiting our Platform or by providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure and otherwise processing of your information on the Platform in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disclose to us any personal data relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
