Is a Growlrr bowl actually complete?
Short answer: yes, and we can show our work. Here's how we test it — no jargon, and the numbers we stand behind. Cats and dogs are held to the same bar.

Does every nutrient clear the minimum?
The minimums are set by NRC 2006 — the nutrient standard the US National Research Council publishes and that vets and nutritionists use for cats and dogs. We score the single weakest nutrient in each bowl against its floor, so nothing hides behind an average.
Does it hold on a normal, messy day?
Real food varies, home portions vary, and manufacturing varies a little too. So instead of checking one perfect bowl on paper, we run the recipe across many thousands of simulated real-world bowls — a Monte-Carlo simulation — and report the fraction of days everything clears. We read that fraction conservatively, as a Wilson confidence bound, not the rosiest number.
Does it stay safe, not just adequate?
Some nutrients — vitamins A and D, selenium, copper — can harm in excess. Clearing the floor is only half the job; nothing may cross its safe upper limit. Across every run, and even under a 4× copper stress-test, there were zero ceiling crossings.
The scale of the test
Every configuration is validated across 1 Million+ Monte-Carlo simulationsat Wilson C/R 95/99. A million-plus simulated feeding days is roughly 2,700 years of one pet's meals — the recommended bowls clear every NRC 2006 floor with zero safe-upper-limit breaches, across the full size range.
