A pregnant or nursing queen is feeding herself and a litter at once. Through late gestation and peak lactation her energy demand rises by roughly 1.8× — and her calcium, phosphorus, taurine and DHA needs rise with it, because everything the kittens are built from comes through her.
CatPro-L™ is a 20-gram lactation co-blend: a validated pre-blend of CatCore™ and KittenPro™ that completes the queen’s own fresh home bowl — balanced chicken and mutton with lean fish fillets like tilapia (a lean protein that helps balance the bowl’s protein-to-fat ratio) and egg — to the FEDIAF 2024 / NRC reproduction floors. You cook the fresh food; CatPro-L carries the reproduction-grade micronutrients.

A nursing mother dog’s energy demand can climb roughly 3.4× over maintenance at peak lactation — a much steeper fan-out than the cat’s — which is why the right dose depends on both her size and her litter. Her calcium and phosphorus needs climb steeply too, to build a whole litter of skeletons.
DogPro-L™ is a 20-gram lactation co-blend: a validated 1:1 pre-blend of DogCore™ and PuppyPro™ that completes the mother’s fresh home bowl — balanced chicken and mutton with lean fish fillets like tilapia (a lean protein that helps balance the bowl’s protein-to-fat ratio), egg, curd and veg — to the FEDIAF 2024 / NRC reproduction floors. Very large litters top up with plain PuppyPro™ singles alongside it.
